Management
Training course sponsor(s) are invited to set objectives against which the course
specification will be revised, if appropriate. Proposed
project management objectives include: -
understand
the concepts of a project, and project management and its relationship with your
business and its management - appreciate the administrative mechanisms
necessary for successful project management
- understand the differing
project management organisational roles
- appreciate the difficulties
and benefits of the planning process and planning systems
- plan, prepare,
initiate, execute, monitor, control and evaluate projects (results and benefits)
- be able to manage resources in a multi tasking / project environment
- cope with changing business priorities and requirements during a live
project
- appreciate the role of QA & Standards in the project management
process
- develop participants thinking, related to your own organisational
issues and problems
- diagnose situations to determine the corrective action
when things go wrong
- formulate recommendations for implementing an improved
project management environment
